Here’s my take on the Pixel 7 Pro. I’ve had it since release and I have used it up until recently. I switched back to my iPhone 14 Pro Max. My home has a Siri Ecosystem and my work has Apple Ecosystem.

It’s a great flagship phone. Does it improve from the Pixel 6 Pro? A bit, it feels good. The brightness has improved. I’m not sure if there really is a big difference in the processor chip. Pixel 7 Pro uses the Tensor G2 vs Pixel 6 Pro’s original Tensor chip.

The battery is the same. Both lasts roughly three days. I fully charged both and didn’t touch either of them. By the third night they were both down to 5% battery.

Both my Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro are new besides the Pixel 7 Pro has Dbrand’s obsidian skin (I think it’s obsidian. I don’t remember which one it was.)

The GPS for both can be wonky. Both versions of the Pixel Pro always showed me as driving off road facing the other direction. I have used all the entire Pixel line-up and Nexus Phones and they all had GPS issues. If you care about GPS I can honestly say Samsung and Apple do a way better job.

My take: If you have the Pixel 6 Pro keep it. The Pixel 7 Pro isn’t much of an upgrade.
